Everyone else receives a verification email on signup or when they try to access certain features, like sending messages or creating listings.
Be wary of users impersonating as students. If someone asks you to move the conversation off-platform or send money via Zelle, Venmo, gift card, crypto, or wire transfer before viewing a place, STOP immediately and report the listing to us through our feedback page (link in the footer).
Always verify listing details, confirm ownership and contact information, user details, and student status before agreeing to anything.
